Sign Notation

a new and unusual (or off brand) thing I discovered... Signwriting is the invention of Valerie Sutton I've not really used it yet, but I bet I'll be able to capture needed information with it. Now as far as my teacher(s) who object to my taking of notes... well that is an unusual problem.

ASL Font

I had seen this before but it was good to be reminded of it. You can get Fingerspelling font for your computer, and use ASL right in a word document!! Look here at University of Oregon Yamada Language Center but be patient. I was UNABLE to download the file. READ the instructions, they will email the files directly to you, that works much better. (The files are tiny)

Topic Comment

We learned a very practical sentence structure. Its called "Topic Comment."
We learned that time should be stated first in ASL.
A major reason for this is that the default tense is other wise assumed to be present.

Also we learned a very practical sign Mean or Meaning.
